Supercube Ice
The most popular type of ice cubes, a perfect choice for restaurants, hotels, pubs, and clubs. Made in the famous Scotsman thimble shape, they are available in four different sizes. SuperCube ice is ‘hard’ ice, which has a slow melt rate, are ideal for chilling ambient soft drinks quickly or serving ‘premium’ drinks like Scotch on the rocks as they have a minimal dilution effect on the drink.
Dice Ice
The shape of dice cubes provides maximum liquid displacement making this type of ice cube ideal for general purpose cooling of drinks. They can be made very quickly and are ideal for outlets needing high volumes of ice, such as fast food outlets. The ‘softer’ texture of dice ice makes it the perfect ice type to blend quickly making it the perfect choice for bars, cafes and coffee shops which serve blended drinks.
Cubelet Ice
Hands free dispensed ice made from hard compacted flake ice in a uniformed cubelet shape with a slow melt rate. Cubelet ice dispensers are ‘The Ice Solution’ for operators which provide self-serve soft drink options as their hygienic, hands free operation makes them very reliable and simple to operate.
Nugget Ice
Nugget ice is made from random cylindrical sized pieces of hard compacted flake ice, which have a slow melt rate. Nugget ice machines are perfect for busy quick service restaurants, bars and all other food service operators as it can be produced quickly and in large quantities relative to the machines foot print.
Flake Ice
Flake Ice is the most natural ice shape. Extruded at a temperature just below zero degrees. Scotsman flaked ice suits a variety of applications including fisheries, laboratories and industry. Perfect for frozen retail displays, fast chilling of food stuffs during the manufacturing process and other commercial processes.
Scale Ice
Scotsman Scale Ice machines manufacture ice in a range of thicknesses, from 1.2mm as preferred by the food processing industry to 2.2mm as demanded by the fishing industry. Scale Ice is produced in heavy-duty cylindrical evaporators designed for the most rugged applications. Scale ice’s dry texture and colder temperatures make it the idea ice type for packing and transporting fresh food products.
Ice & Water Dispensers
The Scotsman DXN ice and water dispensers are the perfect solution for busy bars, restaurants and food service outlets who serve ‘bottomless’ or ‘self-service’ soft drinks. The hands free, touch-less operation makes them easy for anyone to operate whilst maintaining high levels of hygiene and cleanliness. The cubelet ice produced by the DXN has a large volume displacement relative to it’s weight which helps reduce drink product costs.
EcoX
The Scotsman EcoX Range of ice making equipment operate on either R290 (Propane) or R744 (Carbon Dioxide) natural refrigerants (model dependant) which have a Global Warming Potential (GWP) value of 3 or less making the Scotsman EcoX ice makers fully complaint with both current and forthcoming F-Gas regulations.
